Alicia Bordonaba was raised in a small town in Navarra, Spain, before studying psychology at the University of Madrid. Now based in Miami Beach, she brings a clinical understanding of human behavior to Dark Flamingo Studios. She is currently writing Not Emotionally Involved, a book exploring psychopathy, emotional detachment, and the psychology behind dangerous behavior.

Michael Connolly is a documentary filmmaker, director, and co-founder of Dark Flamingo Studios. With a background in psychology and a focus on true crime, he develops cinematic stories that explore criminal behavior, hidden histories, and the darker side of South Florida. His work includes Age of Humans, The Treehouse Murder in the Conch Republic, and the upcoming documentary Manuel Pardo’s Code. Michael will also serve as host of the upcoming true-crime podcast The Dark Flamingo Files, bringing listeners inside real cases through documentary storytelling, original research, and exclusive access.
